Eligibility Requirements:
- Student must be between the ages of 17 and 20.
- Student must be a resident of a participating school district.
- Student must be recommended by the guidance personnel of the participating home school district.
- The student must have no safe schools reportable offenses on their record.
- Student must score at least a 9.0 grade level on the entrance exam.
- Student should have completed approximately ten high school credits.
Admission Procedures:
- Students should check with their guidance counselor for entrance test results. These results are usually sent to the home district guidance office the day following the exam date.
- If the student passes the entrance exam, upon guidance counselor recommendation, the student will complete the York Adams Academy application.
- This completed application will be forwarded to York Adams Academy, along with the student's transcript.
- York Adams Academy will process the application and develop the student's educational plan.
- York Adams Academy will contact the student with the new-student orientation and starting dates.
Note:
York Adams Academy has an open-entry, open-exit design. Students are enrolled throughout the year, and students may complete their studies at any point in the year.
